I'm here to dispel that myth. I have read all of Lisa See's books, and although her main characters are female, her themes are universal. There is nothing a parent wouldn't do for his or her child (even if she turned out to be "an axe murderer"). Pearl goes above and beyond what most of us would be willing to do, and I get that. Read "Dreams of Joy" and you'll get it too. In fiction, like life, dreams do come true.Francehttp://rantofimitation.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003460136023763953.post-18186778798939833332012-02-09T03:12:25.575-10:002012-02-09T03:12:25.575-10:00I'd love to know what you're reading now!I'd love to know what you're reading now!Sooshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00049935433387584192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003460136023763953.post-34230003517081419292012-02-08T23:29:22.608-10:002012-02-08T23:29:22.608-10:00Thanks for the reading suggestions.
